MSMITH is a jewelry maker based in Southern California. An avid outdoors-woman and born contrarian, she is strongly influenced by the beauty and balance of the natural environment – yet she delights in asymmetry. Her designs are both rooted to the earth and modern. She plays with surfaces, textures, form and shape. Her pieces are always light, comfortable, wearable and interactive. MSMITH studied jewelry making, stone setting, casting and fabrication at California College of the Arts, San Francisco City College, Barnsdall Art Center and Pasadena City College.
